Mike and Ben first met in Japan several years ago.  We were both looking for new experiences and fell in love with Asia.

This website is meant to enlighten, entertain, and challenge.  We both have the utmost respect for other cultures and find humor in the absurdity of our situations wherever we are.

Basically, we are smart-asses who like to travel and it is a dream come true to travel and report on WTF things around the world. We hope that you are able to join us and enjoy the amazing photos along the way.

If you like the site, the best way to thank us is to help us promote. We believe that Facebook is the best place for AsiaWTF to catch on. Becoming a fan and/or sharing on your wall is great, but better yet, you could suggest the page to a friend. So why not do that now and click on our mascot? Now, invite all the people you think would enjoy our site the most.

We would like to say one more time how much we appreciate Asian cultures. For both of us it is the differences and idiosyncrasies we encounter daily that make it all worth while.  Yes, we are smart-asses, but at the same time we wouldn’t have Asia be any other way.

To show our love for Asia, lets put our money where our mouth is,  Mike will donate a minimum of 20% of his profits from AsiaWTF.com to Room to Read a non-profit charity that focuses on children’s education throughout Asia. (Ben, on the other hand, feels that children don’t really need to read to enjoy our site and will therefore donate nothing.)
